The ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018 is the 12th Valve sponsored Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major Championship and the first of two in 2018. The tournament featured a $1,000,000 USD prize pool as well as Valve's newly rebranded format and increase to 24 teams. The following is a list of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive console commands and variables. Protocol version 13752 1105/1105 Exe version 1.37.5.2 (csgo) Exe build: 16:34:06 May 7 2020 (7852) (730) 1136 concommands total. Looking at your career, especially looking at the Cloud9 stretch, teams from NA were struggling to find a foothold in CS:GO, but that was the moment when they broke out. I think we had a pretty decent run on Cloud9 for a bit there, getting Top 4’s and obviously the Major win. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) is a multiplayer first-person shooter developed by Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment. It is the fourth game in the Counter-Strike series. Developed for over two years, Global Offensive was released for Windows, macOS, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 in August 2012, and for Linux in 2014.
Timothy “autimatic” Ta, one of the biggest names in the North American Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene, has made the switch to Valorant. He will be joining T1’s Valorant roster, and is a definite upgrade to the team’s overall firepower.
Autimatic was part of Cloud9’s CS:GO roster that won the ELEAGUE Boston Major. This is the only Major tournament a North American team has won in CS:GO in a scene that is dominated by the European and CIS regions.
After his incredible run with Cloud9, autimatic joined Gen.G. He became the organization’s centerpiece. Autimatic would then help the organization win the DreamHack Open Anaheim title in 2020, the most notable accomplishment the organization achieved in the CS:GO scene.
At T1, Autimatic is reunited with his former Cloud9 teammate, Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham. The two were part of the Cloud9 team that upset FaZe Clan in the grand final.
While autimatic’s addition to T1 bodes well for the team on paper, it is unclear whom he will replace on the active roster since they already have a complete squad.
Autimatic has yet to stream or broadcast any of his Valorant games, but we have seen him play against other top players on the North American server, primarily in the duelist role.
T1 is dedicated to becoming the best team in Valorant, and their signing of autimatic could be the catalyst that pushes the team to new heights. However, T1 must first prove themselves within the highly competitive North American scene. The organizations at the top of our Valorant power rankings list have gone through the rigors of the Ignition Series and First Strike competitions, after all.
Another interesting note to take away from autimatic’s move to Valorant is that Riot’s competitive FPS shooter is gradually overtaking CS:GO in terms of popularity.
Former professional CS:GO pro and now world-renowned streamer Michael “shroud” Grzesiek predicted this shift last year. “If Valorant nails the timing of their upcoming LAN events, and if tournaments are popping off, it’s going to blow up even more,” he said.
Since then, Riot has announced its Valorant Champions Tour, which helped the esports scene grow tremendously and pushed organizations to make bigger moves to give their teams the best chance of winning.
